From the characteristic village of Agropoli, passing through Santa Maria di Castellabate, Ascea, Pioppi, Acciaroli, without forgetting the splendid Punta Licosa, one of the first marine parks in Italy, a destination for underwater excursionists and all lovers of the uncontaminated nature of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano.

Until you reach Palinuro, which is characterized by beautiful beaches and a coast full of ravines and sea caves. The Cilento hinterland deserves a separate mention, in particular the vast area of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. A natural environment still intact and uncontaminated, characterized by hills, rivers, paths: an ideal place for lovers of outdoor walks and trekking.

The Cilento National Park is also speleology, with the splendid sites of the Castelcivita Caves and the Angel Caves in Pertosa.

Cilento is in fact the headquartersof two important archaeological sites: the archaeological excavations of Velia, with the renowned Porta Rosa, and those of Ancient Volcei in the Buccino district. But the beauties of Cilento do not end here: the Cilento area is in fact home to numerous testimonies of the Christian cult of its inhabitants.

The most renowned and well-known in the world is undoubtedly the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula, the largest monastic monument in southern Italy, where it is possible to visit, all year round, not only the splendid garden, but the immense and grandiose complex, with cloisters, altars and monks' quarters.
